WE RUN RAIN OR SHINE

There is always something to learn, on a wet or dry track. FAST courses will not be cancelled due to wet track conditions. However, track sessions may be delayed if heavy rain is present.

If the track is (or becomes) flooded because of very severe conditions, FAST Riding School might reschedule the course at a later date.

FOR All of OUR FAST
ADVANCED RIDING COURSES (PHASES)

If you are using one of our motorcycles, your package includes all the necessary riding gear. If you are riding your own bike, our top quality safety gear is still available to you for a small fee.

During morning registration, you will be asked to complete a riding gear form if you have chosen to use our riding gear. You must also sign track and school waivers.

You do not need a motorcycle street riding license to take our courses.

In order to obtain the best possible results out of your FAST course(s), certain riding abilities are considered pre-requisites. Use the guidelines below for your course selection:

PHASE 1

REQUIREMENTS

At FAST, we do not teach you how to ride a motorcycle. You therefore have to know the basics:  leave from a stop, accelerate, shift gears, slow down and stop again. You have to be comfortable riding on the street at the speed limit suggested by the law.  You have to feel confident that you can ride on the track with 9 to 11 other riders who may be faster or slower than you. You need to be able to evaluate the speed of other riders in order to pass them safely. It’s also important that you feel comfortable being passed by other riders. We do have limited passing zones, mainly on the straightaway.

Keep in mind that you will be negotiating about 250 turns during the day.
